                               JOB VACANCIES

World  Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the
following positions:

   1.  PROJECT  ASSISTANT  –  Health  (1  position)  working  for  the Area
   Development  Program  in Ba Thuoc district, Thanh Hoa province. Deadline
   for application: 16 August 2009.

Area Development Program (ADP) is an approach to child focused development,
emphasizing  the  process  of  community participation, sustainability, and
integrating   activities  in  the  areas  of  food  security,  agriculture,
micro-enterprise, health, nutrition, education, water, and sanitation.

Main Responsibilities: To assist the ADP Manager in planning, implementing,
monitoring and evaluating the ADP’s health and nutrition activities.

Requirements:

      University/College graduate in public health, medicine or nursing.
      Experience of primary health care or community-based health
      development is preferred.
      Good reading and report writing skills in English.

 2. PROJECT ASSISTANT – Sponsorship/Admin (1 position) working for the Area
Development  Program in Nhu Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province. Deadline for
application: 31 August 2009.

Main  Responsibilities: The position assists the ADP Manager in maintaining
efficient   and   effective  Sponsorship  Service  Operations,  Sponsorship
Programming  and  Child  Monitoring  to  make  sure  that  the World Vision
International sponsorship service standards and policies are met.
Requirements:
      University/College  graduate  in  any  field (preferably in Community
      Development or English).
      Have experience in working with children and/or working for community
      development projects is helpful.
      Good written and oral communication skills in English.

Common requirements:
      Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
      Work at district level.
      World  Vision  Vietnam  is  a  Christian non-government organization.
      Applicants   having   working   experience   in  a  similar  kind  of
      organization will be an advantage.
