PROGRAMME COORDINATOR FOR RIGHT TO BE HEARD PROGRAMME
Reference number: INT3452
The post is offered on an 8-month contract, to cover for staff on 
maternity leave, based in Hanoi.

Who we are?
Founded in 1942, Oxfam Great Britain made its first grant in Vietnam in 
1955, and is now a leading global development and humanitarian 
organization. Oxfam GB's programmes in Vietnam range across sectors 
including rural livelihoods and infrastructure, basic education, disaster 
management, and national level social and economic policy change. Oxfam GB 
is a member of Oxfam International. 
The role:        Develop and manage Oxfam GB’s Right to be Heard programme 
in Vietnam. This focuses on promoting good governance, social 
accountability, people’s participation and civil society development. It 
involves stand-alone initiatives and integration into programmes for 
Livelihoods, Education, Disaster Management and Equality. 

Reports to:                             Country Director
Staff reports to this post:     Programme Officer (2), Programme Assistant 
(1)
The requirements:
University degree, preferably social science or related field or/and 
management.
Demonstrated skills and significant experience in good governance, civil 
society development and social accountability issues in Viet Nam.
Proven experience in programme strategic planning in a development 
context.
Sound experience in programme management with adoption of participatory 
approaches. 
Sound experience in resource management e.g. people, finances, assets.
Experience in advocacy work at all levels.
Good analytical and planning skills at programme and policy levels.
Good understanding and practical experience in application of equity 
issues (Gender and diversity).
Strong written and spoken English and Vietnamese.
Good computer skills (writing and spreadsheet programs).
Able to travel to programme/project areas.
Gross Annual Salary Range:      US$ 19,500 – US$ 27,500
