STAFF FOR EMERGENCY PROJECT IN QUANG NAM
CARE in Vietnam is a Non-Government Organization representing the CARE
International network. CARE in Vietnam is a creative and dynamic
organization, working with Vietnamese partners in the sectors of health,
rural development and disaster mitigation and preparedness.
CARE in Vietnam is looking for an experienced and qualified Vietnamese for
an emergency project in Quang Nam.
Position information:
Positions: Project Manager, Project Officer, Finance/Administration Officer,
Project Assistant and Procurement Officer
Start working: Immediately
Contract: One year contract with high potential for extension
Base in: Danang/Quang Nam with travel to project sites as required
Summary of Job: The staff of this project is responsible for implementing
emergency response activities and support rehabilitation for people affected
by typhoon Ketsana in Quang Nam and/or other central provinces.
Selection Criteria:
- Project Manager:
* One year working experience in emergency projects preferably in an
international organization
* Experience in project management
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Fluent written and spoken English
- Project Officer, Finance/Administration Officer, Project Assistant and
Procurement Officer:
* Relevant degree or experience to each position
* Ability to work effectively as a team member and with minimal
supervision
* Familiarity with the project area and local residence will be an
asset
