                               JOB VACANCIES

World  Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the
following positions:

1.   PROJECT  ASSISTANT  –  Health  (2  positions)  working  for  the  Area
Development  Programs  (ADP) in Tran Yen district, Yen Bai province and Kim
Dong  district,  Hung  Yen  province. Deadline for application: 20 November
2009.

Main  Responsibilities:  This  position  supports WV Vietnam to improve the
health status of poor children and assists the ADP Manager in designing and
developing   project   plans,  monitoring  the  implementation  of  project
activities to achieve stipulated objectives.
Requirements:
   University graduate in public health or medicine or sitology.
   Have  working  experience  on  development  field,  especially in public
      health  or  primary  health care community development. Experience of
      working in community-based health development is preferred.
   Experience in program implementation and participatory approach.
   Understanding of monitoring and evaluation
   Good written English skills, particularly report writing skills.
   Well-developed written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese.

2.  PROJECT ASSISTANT – Livelihood Development (1 position) working for the
ADP  in  Tran  Yen district, Yen Bai province. Deadline for application: 20
November 2009.

Main Responsibilities:
This  position assists the Tran Yen ADP Manager in designing and developing
project  plans,  monitoring  the  implementation  of  Livelihood  project’s
activities to achieve stipulated objectives.
Requirements:
   University  graduate  in  agriculture  economic,  agriculture, forestry,
      economics, or related fields
   Have  at  least  2  years  work  experience  in  livelihood development.
      Experience of working in community development is preferred.
   Experience in rural economic development or income generation activities
   Good written English skills, particularly report writing skills.
   Well-developed written and oral communications skills in Vietnamese
   Experience in program implementation and participatory approach.
   Understanding of monitoring and evaluation

3.   Bookkeeper/  Finance  Officer  (3  positions)  working  for  the  Area
Development Programs (ADP) in Yen Thuy district, Hoa Binh province, in Dien
Bien Dong district and Muong Cha district, Dien Bien province. Deadline for
application: 12 November 2009

Main  Responsibilities: The position assists the ADP Manager in maintaining
the books of accounts and other financial records of the project & adhering
to  the  financial  standards  of  World  Vision financial system to ensure
accountability.
Requirements:
   University  or College degree in any field (preferably in accounting and
      finance).
   Good knowledge of and 1 year work experience in accounting.
   Ability to use Excel spreadsheet.
   Basic English skills with good reading skills.

4.  PROJECT  ASSISTANT – Monitoring and Evaluation cum Capacity Building (1
position)  working  for  the  Area  Development  Programs in Dien Bien Dong
district, Dien Bien province. Deadline for application: 12 November 2009.

Main  Responsibilities: This position aims to support WV Vietnam to improve
the  quality  of  Capacity  Building  Project  in Dien Bien Dong ADP and to
improve  the  quality  of  Design,  Implementation,  Monitoring, Evaluation
(DIME) system of the ADP.

Requirements:
   University/College   graduate,   preferably   in   Pedagogy,  Sociology,
      Community Development, Economics or related fields.
   At least 1 year working experiences in community development.
   Knowledge  and work experience on Monitoring & Evaluation and management
      of information systems is preferred.
   Good skills in training and capacity building
   Basic English skills with good reading skills

Common requirements:
   Good computer skills (word processing, excel).
   Work at district level.
   World   Vision  Vietnam  is  a  Christian  non-government  organization.
      Applicants   having   working   experience   in  a  similar  kind  of
      organization will be an advantage.
