Message from UNDP Vietnam Procurement Unit

Dear colleagues and friends,

The UNDP Viet Nam seeks 01 national consultant for Mapping of good
practices in anti-corruption in education, health and water sectors in
Vietnam.

Corruption hinders efforts to achieve the MDGs by reducing access to
services, public goods, resources, markets, and diverting resources away
from investments in infrastructure, institutions and social services.
Success in meeting the MDGs will therefore largely depend on the
'quality' of governance and the level of effectiveness, efficiency and
equity in resource generation, allocation and management.

There is a growing consensus that strengthening and reforming the
education, health and water sectors are indispensable to achieving the
MDGs. Corruption and poor governance help explain why increased funding
allocations, such as those aimed at meeting the MDGs have not
necessarily translated into improvements in human development
indicators.

The objective of this consultancy is to indentify good practices at the
country level and to draft a case study on good practices in the
education, health and water sectors.

Full solicitation documents can be obtained by visiting UNDP website at:
