                                JOB VACANCY

World  Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the
PROGRAM  OFFICER  position,  working for the ECHO – funded “Typhoon Ketsana
Emergency Recovery and Rehabilitation Program” in Quang, Tri, Quang Nam and
Quang Ngai provinces. This position is based in Hanoi with extensive travel
to the field areas, five-month contract with possibility of extension and a
very competitive salary and benefit package.

Main  Responsibilities:  Under  supervision  of  the  National  Relief  and
Disaster  Mitigation  Coordinator,  ensure  day-to-day  management  of  the
project activities in the target areas.

Requirements:

      University degree in relevant field;
      Three years of practical working experience with community level;
      Reasonable planning, monitoring and evaluation skills;
      Experience of budgeting;
      Excellent report writing and training skills in both English and
      Vietnamese languages;
      Experience of working with NGOs with strong emergency preparedness
      and response components. Previous experience in an international NGO
      is a prerequisite;
      Proven project management and coordination skills;
      Experience with implementation and management of grants, especially
      the ones from EU is an advantage.
   Good computer skills.
   Good communication skills in both spoken and written English.
   World   Vision  Vietnam  is  a  Christian  non-government  organization.

   will be an advantage.
