JOB VACANCIES
World Vision Vietnam (WVV) invites competent Vietnamese candidates for the
following positions:
1. Capacity Building and Training Manager (1 position), based in Hanoi,
working for the Micro Finance Program.
Main Responsibilities:
To provide effective and significant contributions to enhance capacity of
Micro Finance (MF) Program staff, concerned communities and stakeholders,
which ensure MF Program’s short-term objectives and long term strategic
goals are gradually achieved.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude Required:
· A Bachelor Degree in economics, accounting, business administration
or any other social science field;
· Five years experience in MF or Micro Economic Development or Business
Development Services;
· Strong Coordination, Facilitation, Presentation, Influencing &
Training Skills;
· Experience in working with Capacity Building and Training
Organizations;
· Experience with Information Technologies and creating information
system for business/competitive intelligence;
· Be a strategic thinker/problem-solver with effective communication
skills;
· Be a good trainer, facilitator, mentor, and coach;
· Be fluent in English, both written and spoken;
· Willingness to travel to provinces frequently (30% of time) and
ability to work under pressure;
· World Vision Vietnam is a Christian non-government organization.
Applicants having working experience in a similar kind of
organization will be an advantage.
2. National Coordinator Sector – Economic Development (1 position), work
base: negotiable, preferably in Hanoi.
Main Responsibilities:
To assist the Program Quality Support Director in reviewing and updating
the national Economic Development (ED) strategies, enhancing the quality of
ED programs, and writing proposals; to provide technical advice concerning
ED components to all Area Development Programs and special funded projects
throughout Vietnam, and provide direction to overall capacity building in
WVV’s ED activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Attitude Required:
· Bachelor degree in relevant disciplines;
· Five years experience in implementing programs that address issues of
Economic development;
· Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate national staff and
partners;
· Developed strategic approaches to address needs in the sector/theme
in developing countries;
· Experience in monitoring and evaluating projects and ensuring that
recommendations are implemented;
· Experience in project design and proposal writing experience for
government grants from donors such as USAID, AusAID, DFID, JICA and
EU;
· Experience networking with a range of donors, multi-lateral, and
government bodies;
· Be fluent in English, both written and spoken;
· World Vision Vietnam is a Christian non-government organization.
