UNDP Viet Nam seeks 01 International consultant to provide technical assistance to Biodiversity Conservation Agency (BCA) in the preparation of National Biodiversity Strategic Action Plan.
The objective of the assignment is to provide technical assistance to Biodiversity Conservation Agency (BCA) in preparation of National Biodiversity Strategic Action Plan (NBSAP), focusing on following tasks:
a) Assist BCA in drafting outline of the baseline report and outlines of NBSAP development in Vietnam, including biodiversity status, trench and challenges for conservation
b) Work with local experts to identify national priorities in terms of ecosystem, species and genetic resources conservation in connection with CBD strategic goals and Aichi targets
c) Draft work plan for NBSAP development with support from local experts and key stakeholders, including draft TORs for different working groups, themes to be identified and priority issues to be identified.
The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
