[Ngo-admin] Consultancy service - 02 Field Consultants to assist in Preparation Work of GEF Project

Dear Sir/Madam,

The UNDP Viet Nam seeks 02 National Field Consultants  to assist in Preparation Work of GEF Project on "Conservation of Critical Wetland Protected Areas and Linked Landscapes".

The Government of Viet Nam, represented by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE), received GEF assistance through UNDP to carry out a full size project to establish new wetland protected areas and to create capacities for their effective management to mitigate existing and emerging threats from connected landscapes. The project aims to promote sustainable use of wetlands and of the wider landscape, through addressing the present barriers to achieve the long-term solution for effective wetlands conservation in Viet Nam.

The Field consultants will support the task force of UNDP, MONRE and the International and national Project Preparation Consultants to prepare a UNDP/GEF compliant full-size project document, which is fully in line with the Project Identification Form (PIF) that has been approved by the GEF Secretariat in January 2013.

The field consultants will be the key contact people for the UNDP Country Office and MONRE task force on the coordination work with various agencies and provinces, local authorities during the project preparation phase. He/She will provide logistic support for the task force in organising meetings, the local stakeholder consultations.   He/She will also take part in initial preparation missions and support the organization and delivery of the PPG Inception workshop.
