Dear all,
The changes in international cooperation and primarily the reduction in funds which are available to be spend by INGOs, makes it difficult for local (national) staff to keep their jobs in their current status. This creates uncertainty and insecurity for local staff, both in terms of professional and personal life. What is the exit-strategy of donors? What are the consequences for local staff in relation to this strategy? And how does this contribute to the development of Vietnam?

MDF will write a series of articles on the strategies of INGOs and their influence on the professional and personal life of local staff, as they perceive it. The articles will be published in the magazine of AsianNGO and each volume represents the view and experiences of the local staff in subsequently Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. Each article will focus on one country and is the result of several in-depth interviews with local staff, and responses to the online survey. 
This announcement would like to ask you if you (if you are Vietnamese and working for an INGO in Vietnam) would like to fill out the survey for Vietnam. The survey will take around 10 minutes to complete. Thanks in advance for your input!
