</b>To support Oxfam International programme in Viet Nam and linkage
in the region by conducting, managing and communicating high quality research
and analysis on key poverty and development trends in the country and the
Mekong region. </font>

Coordinator for Advocacy and Communications</font>

<p><font size=2 face="Arial"><b>The requirements:</b></font>
<ul>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">Sound understanding of development and poverty
issues, especially sound grasp of macro-economics and economic analysis
as they relate to poverty and development</font>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">Proven track record in producing high quality
research, policy briefing papers</font>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">Thorough understanding of research methodologies
and skills with an ability to train/coach and transfer skills to others</font>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">Experience in managing other researchers
and/or research projects (including managing commissioned researchers),
ensuring high standards of delivery</font>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">Outstanding written and verbal communications
skills, with an ability to simplify complex concepts both verbally and
orally in order to influence others</font>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">Strong understanding of and proven commitment
to gender and diversity issues</font>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">A well-developed network of relevant academic
and applied research contacts to draw on</font>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">Fluency in written and spoken English and
Vietnamese </font>
<li><font size=2 face="Arial">Good computer skills</font>
