Dear EMWGers,

"Vietnamis a country of 54 ethnic groups with different features of
culture, economy and society. Properly responding to the diversity
becomes more and more important when the cultural and economic
integration between ethnic groups and countries gets increased rapidly.
In the development process, the community cannot replace their culture
with other cultures. In contrast, no community can be tied and refuse to
adapt for changes. Therefore, people and communities are pro-active
subjects to decide to preserve the cultural identities and dispose what
is no longer appropriate and they have full right to self-determination"
I would like to share with you a discourse on Cultural diversity in
development programs in ethnic minority communities by EMWG
