[Ngo-emwg] Invitation to Launching Ceremony of MDG Country Report 2015, 21 SEPTEMBER 2015

Dear Madam/Sir,

The Government of Viet Nam is going to launch the final MDG Country Report 2015 titled “Achieving the Viet Nam Millennium Development Goals 2015”. The report documents the progress/results, learn lessons of Vietnam and concludes the whole journey in MDGs implementation from 2000 to 2015. The report also highlights potential opportunities and challenges facing the country beyond 2015 when Viet Nam moves forward in implementing the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This final MDG report 2015 will be presented by H.E President Truong Tan Sang at the UN Summit in the third week of this September.

Upon the request by the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI, the government focal point for Millennium Development Goals monitoring and reporting), I would like to share with you the attached invitation for you to participate in the launching ceremony of the final MDG Country Report 2015. The ceremony is also a good opportunity to engage various stakeholders into Viet Nam’s Post-2015 Development towards SDGs - Leaving No One Behind.
