[Ngo-emwg] SDG Startup Workshop on 19 May 2016

Please kindly be informed that the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) is going to organize a "Start-up Workshop on Rolling-out of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Viet Nam - The SDGs: Everyone's Business".


-       Purposes: to

(i)            Widely inform all stakeholders of the GOVN's direction on implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Viet Nam including the development of a National Action Plan for Implementation of the 2030 Agenda;

(ii)           Engage and mobilise participation and support of all stakeholders in the development and implementation process of the National Action Plan;

(iii)          Discuss on collaboration mechanisms among national as well as international stakeholders in the SDG implementation in Vietnam.



-       Chairs: MPI Vice Minister and UN Resident Coordinator, UNDP Resident Representative.



-       Time:   8:30 - 12:00, Thursday, 19 May 2016
