4) "Genetic engineering and food sovereignty" (Bắt đầu từ trang 2, Eng)

Megan Mills-Novoa

Hello,

I would like to thank you for attending the screening of Bitter Seeds at the Goethe Institut on December 13th. It was wonderful to see some many people interested in learning more about impact of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) on farmers in rural India and its linkages to Vietnam.

As a follow-up to this event, I would like to share the following resources with you. These resources will help you to learn more about GMOs (or Genetically Engineered-GE crops) and its potential implications for Vietnam, particularly relating to GMO or GE rice. Some of these documents are not saved with proper page order, I apologize for this (GE Rice & Who Needs Golden Rice). The articles are complete, you may just need to scroll through to find the appropriate page.

1) “Selection of appropriate approach to GM crops in Vietnam” by Ms. Tram (Vn)

2) "GE Rice - The Genetic Engineering of the World's Leading Staple Crop" (Vn/Eng)

3) "Who needs Golden Rice" (Vn/Eng)

4) "Genetic engineering and food sovereignty" (Starts with page 2, Eng)

5) “Why GE food is dangerous” (Vn)

If you are interested in hearing about future events and additional resources related to GMOs, please respond to this email and I will add to you the list serve of the GMO sub-group of the Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resource Management working group within the NGO Resource Center.

All the Best,

Megan Mills-Novoa
