Đối với cộng đồng dân tộc thiểu số tại Việt Nam, rừng đóng một vai trò vô
cùng quan trọng. Cuộc sống hàng ngày của cộng đồng bao gồm cả sinh kế,
nguồn nước, các thực hành văn hóa tâm linh tín ngưỡng, nguồn vật liệu xây
dựng nhà cửa vv… đều dựa vào nguồn tài nguyên đất và rừng.

Để hiểu rõ hơn về vai trò của rừng đối với cộng đồng người DTTS, Trung tâm
tư vấn quản lý bền vững tài nguyên và phát triển văn hóa cộng đồng Đông Nam
Á (CIRUM) và một số tổ chức thành viên Nhóm công tác về Dân tộc thiểu số
(EMWG) trân trọng kính mời anh/chị tham gia Diễn đàn học hỏi với chủ đề

*“Quyền về rừng cộng đồng và tầm quan trọng của đất rừng đối với người Dân
tộc thiểu số”.*
Diễn đàn học hỏi sẽ được tổ chức:

*- Địa điểm:* phòng 403, Viện nghiên cứu Xã hội, Kinh tế và Môi trường
(iSEE), tòa nhà Lakeview, D10 Giảng Võ (đằng sau khách sạn Hà Nội), Hà Nội

Dear EMWGers,

Forests and forest land play an important role in the life of ethnic
minority communities in Vietnam. Their daily life, including livelihoods,
water resources, practices of culture and spiritual belief, and material
resources to build houses, etc …depends on land and forest resources.

To better understand the role of forests towards ethnic minority
communities and the mutual relationship between forests and the community,
The Centre of Culture Identity and Resources Use Management (CIRUM), and
some members of the Ethnic Minorities Working Group (EMWG) would like to
invite you to the learning forum on* “Rights on community forest and the
importance of forest land to ethnic minorities in Vietnam”.*

The learning forum is organized with the following information:

*- Time:* 8:00-12:00, Date: September 30 th ,2016
*- Venue:* Room 403, Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and
Environment (iSEE),
Lakeview Building, D10 Giang Vo (behind Hanoi Hotel), Ba Dinh, Hanoi.
