Dear members of the Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources Management Working Group


The Green Innovation Centre project under GIZ is organizing a training on ValueLinks methodology from 28 Nov – 2 December 2022. The purpose of the training is to help partners, including decision makers, local experts, as well as project implementers, universities, research institutes, companies and NGOs in Vietnam to be familiarized with climate-resilient value chain promotion and able to:



  *   Link business logic to development logic to find opportunities and entry points for improving the value chain performance, taking into account the socio-economic and environment factors that have impacted the existing business models.
  *   Learn how to promote growth targeted at improving livelihood of small producers, improving gender equity and promoting youth
  *   Co-create solutions for value chain developments at micro level and learn how to link this up with financing and contractual arrangements between small and large enterprises.
  *   Provide trainings to their students and clients so they can adopt the methodology, apply in their work at micro, meso and macro levels, that does not only help improving value chain performance for businesses, but also for the whole sector.

We will allow a maximum of 25 participants for the training, and we are providing some scholarships for selected participants. Please kindly share the information to our national partners and others within your network so the training can be beneficial to those who are really interested in learning new methodology.

The deadline for application is 27 October 2022. The selection process will start as soon as we get the application and will be closed when 25 slots have been filled up.
