Dear development practitioners,<br>

The participation of and leadership from ethnic minorities in
development project is crucial in achieving impacts, sustainability
and promoting empowerment of people and communities. Government,
local NGOs and INGOs working in Vietnam have acquired many relevant
experiences in empowering local communities in particular ethnic
minorities through their development projects. <br>
In order to share those experiences,<span
style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif""></span>

style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">he
Ethnic Minority Working Group (EMWG) is going to organize a
one-day workshop on “<b>Empowerment of Ethnic Minority Communities
in Development Projects</b>” on <b>10<sup>th</sup> April, 2013</b>.
</span><span
style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">The
workshop is for sharing and discussing experiences in empowering
local communities through their development interventions and
projects, which will contribute to the better results of the
implementation of development projects by development
practitioners, in particular governmental agencies. <br>

The workshop will be held from <b>8:30-17:00</b> at <b>Fortuna
Hotel</b>, 6B Lang Ha, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. <br>

The EMWG would like to invite you to participate in this important
