<p class="" style="margin-bottom:12pt;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">Recently,
the Vietnamese Government has implemented many poverty reduction programmes
targeting ethnic minority communities with a priority to extremely hard areas. </span><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"" lang="EN-GB">Although facing many difficulties
and challenges, there have been successful poverty reduction models in ethnic
minority communities. </span><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif""></span></p>
<p class="" style="margin-bottom:12pt;line-height:normal"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"" lang="EN-GB">In this context, ActionAid
International Vietnam (AAV) and Oxfam coordinated with their local partners to
conduct two studies on <b style>Poverty reduction
models in some ethnic minority communities in Vietnam</b> <i><span style>(Case studies in Ha Giang, Nghe An and Dak
Nong)</span></i> and <b style>Roles of village
institutions in poverty reduction in some typical ethnic minority communities
of Vietnam </b><i><span style>(Case studies in Dien
Bien, Quang Tri, Dak Lak and Tra Vinh). </span></i></span></p>
<p class="" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The
Ethnic Minorities Working Group (EMWG) would like to invite you to the sharing
of the findings of these latest studies by Oxfam and AAV. Kindly find attached the invitation of the sharing for full details<br></span></p>
<p class="" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The
sharing will take place from <b>9a.m-12a.m </b>on <u><b style>15<sup>th</sup> August, 2013</b></u> at the meeting room of the <b>NGO
Resource Centre</b>, F1 building, La Thanh hotel, 218 Doi Can, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. </span></p>
<p class="" style="text-align:justify"><span style="font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"">The
sharing will be done in Vietnamese. English translation will be provided upon
participants� request.</span></p>
