Currently, there are many development programmes targeting the
ethnic minorities and focusing on the poorest communes and
districts in Vietnam. Despite all efforts, the poverty rate of the
group still remains high. One of the main reasons is the lack of
local participation in the development, from the identification of
needs to monitoring activities. That mainstreaming local
participation in socio-economic development plan (SEDP) plays an
important role in improving their own life sustainably. <br>
<br>
In order to share some effective practices in strengthening local
participation in development programmes, the EMWG would like to
invite you to the sharing meeting with the following information:<br>
