[Ngo Climate Change] Civil Society Inputs for Climate Change

Dear colleagues from the Climate Change Working Group,

In view of the Rio+20 follow-up and the Post-2015 agenda (on UN 
Millennium Development Goals), the EU delegation to Vietnam is obtaining 
the points of views of civil society - with the objective of gathering 
information, report back  and consolidating the EU position on the 
following issues:

How Vietnam is preparing for and engaging in the processes of Rio+20 
follow up and post 2015? What are the particular issue(s) of concern or 
priorities of Vietnam in this context?

How Vietnam sees the coherence between the Rio+20 and post 2015 
processes, in particular the coherence between the MDGs and the post 
2015 framework?

How Vietnam sees the objective and scope of the post-2015 agenda? What 
is its appreciation of the report from the UN Task Team (mentioned 
above), and what are its expectations of the HLP work?

What initiatives are envisaged by Vietnam to "green" the economy and 
what actions are contemplated to put into action the Rio+20 Framework 
for Action? How is this informing its position in these processes?

Where will Vietnam prefer the High Level Political Forum to be placed 
within the UN system, and what should be its main functions? How does 
Vietnam see the implementation of the Rio decision to strengthen UNEP?

Where Vietnam would see possibilities for close cooperation with the 
European Union?
