Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) have organised a Climate Finance event at COP18 to showcase UK climate finance. Please find below details:

UK Climate Finance Partnerships Event at the British Embassy in Doha with UK Energy and Climate Change Ministers Ed Davey and Greg Barker

Delivering international climate finance is of key importance if we are to succeed in mitigating against climate change and adapting to its effects. Creating partnerships between donors, host countries and the private sector will both help scale up the amount of climate finance and ensure it is delivered effectively.

We would be extremely grateful if you could email kevin.hunt at decc.gsi.gov.uk<mailto:kevin.hunt at decc.gsi.gov.uk>  at your earliest convenience, to confirm your availability. An official invitation will follow.

Please feel free to extend to colleagues as wide as possible as there is no limit on space for the event, but all must RSVP.

The official invitation will follow before the end of the week.
