Dear ​colleagues, ​

The Editorial Board of Vietnam Journal of Public Health (VJPH) welcomes authors to submit your manuscripts as policy commentaries, original research papers drawn from quantitative and qualitative studies, systematic review and meta-analysis, review of books or PhD dissertation, and report of lessons learned from public health programs.

The Inaugural issue will be published in time for the  4th  Asia  Pacific conference  on Public Health which will be organized in Nha Trang City, Vietnam on November 21 and 22, 2013. The theme of the conference is “Climate Change and Population Health” which timely reminds us that climate change has been affecting, and will continue to affect, the health status of different generations and population groups, patterns of morbidity and mortality, the rich-poor health gap, social stability, and geo-political security. The VJPH Editors therefore especially welcome papers and commentaries that address issues related to the effects of, as well as the responses to, climate change and how they contribute to protecting population health in Vietnam and beyond.  

Please remark the following important deadlines:

Deadline for email of intent:                     May 30, 2013

Deadline for submission of manuscripts:  July 15, 2013

Notification of peer-reviewed results:       August 15, 2013

Submission of revised revision:               September 15, 2013

Hard copy and online publication:            November 15, 2013
