Subject: CSO training course at Danida Fellowship Centre - apply before
March 1st

Dear Southern Voices networks and Consortium members,

Please see the mail below – which presents the opportunity for Southern CSOs
and NGOs to participate in a three week training course by Danida Fellowship
Center. In charge of the course is Hans Peter Dejgaard, which some of you
may know from the two reviews made of the Southern Voices programme, in 2010
and 2012 respectively. 

The focus of the three-week course in on CSO management in a changing
context of development cooperation. Each participant will be guided to
develop an action plan on a key issue of concern for his/her organization.
The course will be targeting managers at different levels from CSOs/NGOs in
countries cooperating with Danish embassies and/or Danish NGOs. Participants
should have at least 3-5 years of working experience and be able to follow
the course in English. The participants payment is DKK 7.500 – which covers
all costs. Application deadline is March 1st. 

More information about the course and the application procedure is found in
the attached folder.

interested in applying for the training course.

---- -------------------- To Danish NGO’s about CSO course in Copenhagen
2013 -----------

We would like to ask you, to forward the attached brochure to your Southern
partner organizations, whom have staff/leaders that could be interested in
applying to participate in a 3-weeks course in Copenhagen. This course "Role
of Civil Society in Aid Effectiveness" is held in English in the period from
29th April to 17th of May 2013. 

The course is held under the auspices of Danida Fellowship Centre (DFC), and
the company; INKA Consult with Hans Peter Dejgaard as course leader. Among
other trainers are people from CISU (Civil Society in Development is an
independent association of 260 small and medium sized Danish Civil Society
Organisations).

The deadline for application is on the 1st of March 2013. Submit the
application to the Danish Embassy. In countries without a Danish embassy,
your partner can send the application via your Danish partner organization
to DFC in Copenhagen.

You will find more information in the attached brochure, which are addressed
to leaders and staff of CSO partners in developing countries, where Danida
and / or Danish NGOs are active.

The course includes favourable conditions for participants, with the vast
majority of accommodation and course expenses, paid for by DFC (flights,
accommodation, per diem, insurance, education etc.). However, there is a
requirement for a self-financing of DKK 7,500 (1,000 Euro) for each
participant. 

We hope that you will contribute to the course, be spreading this brochure
among your partners, as this is a good opportunity, as well as we get some
good and motivated candidates for the 20 seats, set up for the course 2013.
