[Ngo Climate Change] Invitation to sharing meeting on "Climate projections: high resolution downscaling for Vietnam" - 25th Feb - Mon 1:30-3:00pm

Dear CCWG members,

 

CSIRO AusAID Research for Development Alliance is now working on a science
collaboration project between Australia and Viet Nam, aimed at developing
updated high resolution climate projections for Viet Nam. 

Those regional scale projections will help Vietnam better understand the
likely effects of climate change throughout the country, which then will
assist in identifying people & sectors at risk and prioritizing its climate
change response. The project is funded by the Australian Government's aid
program, delivered by CSIRO in collaboration with IMHEN and Hanoi University
of Science.


As the project Team Leader and Communication Advisor will be in Hanoi next
week, I would like to invite you to a sharing meeting next Monday afternoon.
Details are as following: 

Date and time: 13:30 - 15:00, Monday 25th February 2013

Venue: NGO Resource Centre, La Thanh hotel, 218 Doi Can Hanoi

Agenda:  

-          Overview of current project 

-          Channels for data dissemination & how to access information

-          Potential for NGO cooperation & participation in a User Reference
