 Dear colleagues,

We are happy to announce the upcoming symposium “Adaptation to Climate Change in the Coastal Zone of Soc Trang Province”, which will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on November 19th, 2013. 

The symposium aims to present experiences and lessons learnt from 6 years of implementation of the project “Management of Natural Resources in the Coastal Zone of Soc Trang Province”. It will also provide a forum to connect adaptation practitioners and a wide range of stakeholders.

The focus of this symposium will be on the four key topics of mangrove rehabilitation, mangrove management, Integrated Coastal Management and erosion protection through bamboo wavebreaker plus an extra session on environmental awareness. The key thematic sessions will be introduced by international keynote speakers and followed by examples and lessons learnt from Soc Trang province.
