Dear CCWG members,

My name is Ha Nguyen, a Research Associate at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) Asia Centre. I would like to invite you to join weADAPT, an online platform for practitioners, researchers, planners, decision-makers and students to share knowledge and insights on climate change adaptation and to collaborate in finding ways to address the adverse impacts of climate change (http://weadapt.org).

This three-minute animation http://vimeo.com/74193702 will give you a quick introduction to weADAPT. It highlights key features of weADAPT and benefits from being part of this community of learning.

Once you join and share your projects or knowledge products to weADAPT, key important insights from your work will be widely disseminated, the visibility of your work and its lifespan will be increased. Your information will be intelligently linked to similar and complementary work on the website and through Google's search mechanisms'.

There are two important features of weADAPT that I would like to highlight here: 1) you could see trends and gaps across the climate adaptation institutional landscape through the visualized map of institutional networks; and 2) you can compare adaptation case studies to climate science using climate station data for Africa and Asia which is now integrated in weADAPT.

To start sharing your project(s) and becoming part of the community of learning on climate adaptation, please sign up here<http://weadapt.org/user/signup>. The following are three basic steps to register and upload your projects.

1) Click to this link: http://weadapt.org/user/signup to register. A confirmation email will be sent to you. Please click the link to confirm your account.

2) Once you have logged in, you will be taken to your personal homepage. You can see here a list of 'Things to do', which include adding a personal description, information about your organization, and content of your project(s).

3) Please click on 'add a short case study' and populate the content with information about the project. Once you think you are done, please scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'submit to editor'. This is where it will be queued for publication.

If you are short on time, you can fill out this QuickShare<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dEJDNFVHaFowTFpMSE1PVTU3Q1Z1Vnc6MA#gid=0> form and the weADAPT team will upload your content for you and then get back to you for approval before publishing.

We look forward to sharing and collaborating with you in weADAPT. Thank you very much.
