Excuses for not providing a Vietnamese translation
Dear colleagues,
As you know, last month the Southern CCWG has been established as a thematic
group under the Hanoi-based CCWG. During our core group meeting at the end
of February, core group members discussed a tentative planning for 2014.
This year the S-CCWG aims to organise regular technical meetings for
information sharing and producing qualitative discussions on a specific
climate change related topic for the Southern region/Mekong Delta.
To encourage joint ownership and sustainability of this working group, we
would like to seek interest from different national and international
organisations to proactively (co-)facilitate one of these technical meetings
around a topic of your choice. Facilitation means organizing all aspects of
the meeting (email invitation, logistics, translation if required), looking
for one or two presenters that could feed into the discussion and taking
short minutes of the meeting. For your information, we are talking to HUFO
at the moment to see if we can use their meeting room facilities, which
should make these technical meetings much easier to organise. Meetings can
be organised in Vietnamese and/or English.
Facilitation of the meetings is open to anyone and (co-)facilitation of
VNGOs is strongly encouraged!
Please see below a tentative schedule so far and meeting minutes attached
