 Dear Colleagues,



We are pleased to inform you that the MRC’s Climate Change and Adaptation
Initiative (CCAI) is orgainsing a *2nd Mekong Climate Change Forum on 6th –
8th October 2014* in Siem Reap, Cambodia, under the theme “Adaptation to
Climate Change in the Transboundary Context”.



The Forum expects to gather about 200 people who work on or fund climate
change projects in the Mekong region. It will provide a platform for Mekong
stakeholders to discuss and share information on various aspects of climate
change and climate change adaptation, with the following thematic topics
being the main focus:



   1. State of knowledge on climate change and climate change impacts and
   vulnerability in the Lower Mekong Basin
   2. Climate change adaptation in the Lower Mekong Basin: Policies,
   strategies and actions on the ground
   3. Transboundary adaptation needs and approaches in the Lower Mekong
   Basin and around the world
   4. Synergies between national and transboundary adaptation



The Forum is *NOW OPEN* for registration and participation in it is *free
of charge*.



Please note that the Forum is open to both participation and presentation.
If you have any relevant project about which you wish to talk, we would
highly encourage you to register as a speaker. Kindly refer to the attached
provisional programme for more information.



To register, please complete the enclosed registration form and send it to
Ms Tatirose Vijitpan at tatirose at mrcmekong.org (on or before 15 September
2014).
