*1. What is EACLC?*

EACLC – East Asia Climate Leader Camp is a five-day climate leadership
training that will be held  in August 2015, bringing 35 well-selected
climate leaders and organizers together for a culture clash camp building
climate leadership skills, strategies, networks, but more importantly,
generate actionable ideas that will help to solve the climate crisis in
East Asia. The camp is organized by 350.org Vietnam with technical support
from 350.org, 350.org East Asia and other partners.

- Time: August 22-26, 2015

- Venue: Ha Long City, Vietnam

- All expenses will be covered by the EACLC organizers

*2.* *How**’s EACLC different?*


   -  The first-ever regional climate leaders training, that will include a
   follow-up plan that the participants will commit to
   - A unique learning experience where a wide range of participants from
   diverse backgrounds and skills will enable cross-border networking and
   leadership
   - Being assigned with real-life situation tasks, the campers will learn
   how to collaborate and use various tactics to do an effective campaign in
   different contexts, from using arts to direct actions, from digital
   campaigning to community organizing
   - A unique opportunity for the participants to become an important part
   of the 350.org’s climate movement and get support for their future
   climate interventions in the community

*3. Who are eligible for EACLC 2015?*


   - You must be an East Asian citizen living in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City or
   Da Nang, Vietnam (for now and for at least the next 12 months)
   - You must be fluent in English
   - You must commit to an actionable plan for climate campaigning that
   will be discussed during the EACLC
   - You must be available in Vietnam on August 21-27, 2015

*4. What is the application process?*

June 10:           Application opens (Round 1)

June 30:           Application close

July 5:              Announcement of applicants going to Round 2

July 6 – 12:      Round 2 selection (Skype calls and 1-min video submission)

July 17:            Announcement of applicants going to Round 3

July 20- 25:     Round 3 selection (Skype calls, face to face interviews)

July 30:            Announcement of selected participants
