International Scholarships for MSc in Tropical Forestry at TU Dresden, Germany
  - Deadline 30 October 2016 -


You are invited to apply for a DAAD scholarship for the MSc Course in TROPICAL FORESTRY, 2017 intake.
The course is taught in English at the Technische Universität Dresden (TUD), one of the 11 German Universities that obtained a status of Excellence.
Over many decades, the international orientation and socio-economic focus have made this 2-year MSc course unique in Europe. You will benefit from the international background of our research & lecturing scientists who will also supervise your field research in the tropics.  
Besides socio-economic and general aspects of tropical forestry, the course includes specific topics of climate mitigation related carbon forestry, agroforestry and land use change. Opportunities to enter into our PhD program also exist for exceptionally good students.  
Presently, over 300 graduates from our courses are working in tropical countries and international organizations, many of them in top positions.

Another plus: As a public university TUD exempts students from tuition fees!
