Dear Sir/Madam,



Within framework of the Government to Government (G2G) program between the
Netherland and Vietnam for improved integrated planning and monitoring of
water resources for transboundary water management and disaster risk
management, the consortium including Dutch partners (HKV, Future Water,
TUDelft) and Vietnamese counterparts (DRS, NAWAPI, etc.) is developing
infrastructure to support decision making, namely Flood Early Warning
System (FEWS). With this infrastructure, information services based on
remote sensing, ground observations, and modelling can be delivered to
users in a timely, clear and visually attractive way and thus can support
water management decision making processes as well operations of various
water users such as dam operators, water suppliers, etc.

The objectives of the workshop are to share the outcomes of the case
studies for two transboundary basins in Vietnam: Da and Srepok river
basins, and to discuss with you as end-users on your needs of information
so that we can improve the infrastructure and make it more beneficial to
you.

Therefor we would like to invite you to attend the workshop at NAWAPI with
the tentative agenda:

   - *8:45: Registration *
   - 9:00 opening of the workshop (by representative of NAWAPI)
   - 9:15 presentation of Integrated water management in Da river basin:
   remote sensing and modelling for optimal reservoir management by HKV (in
   the name of the project team - TU Delft, FutureWater and Vinwater)
   - 10:00 presenting the dashboard for Srepok river basin by NAWAPI
   - *10:30: Coffee break*
   - 10:40 discussion with the participants - what is their impression so
   far? What do they want to do with this information? What would they like to
   have from this infrastructure?
   - 11:10 Closure of the workshop and the next steps ahead
