Workshop Invitation

 

Strengthening participation of VUSTA’s members and affiliations in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development

 

VUSTA has been active in mobilizing its member associations and affiliated organizations to contribute to the draft National Action Plan for the implementation of the Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and Viet Nam’s Voluntary National Review (VNR 2018 Report). It has also plays an active role as a member of inter-ministerial SDG Taskforce. 

 

Thanks to the support of Irish Aid and GIZ, VUSTA has conducted (1) a review on the engagement of VUSTA’s members and affiliations in SDG implementation, and (2) an in-depth analysis of possible mechanisms for the participation of VUSTA in SDG implementation and monitoring.

 

In this context, VUSTA cordially invites you to participate in our “Strengthening participation of VUSTA’s members and affiliations in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” workshop, which will include the following:

 
An update on national progress in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Vietnam.
Consultation on a draft report outlining the contributions of social organizations registered under VUSTA in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Vietnam.
Discussion of how to further strengthen the participation of VUSTA’s members and affiliated social organizations in the implementation of the Agenda 2030. 
 

Time:               8:30 to 12:30, Thursday, 22nd November, 2018
