Dear Sir/Madam,

Green Office (GO) is a practical management system for all size of offices and all kinds of organizations. It assists to reduce environmental impact and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and operational cost thanks to the reduction of electricity/water/paper consumption. However, GO is unpopular in Vietnam due to the low awareness of these benefits and the GO toolkit's lack of availability. 

 

To address the challenge, within the framework of the Initiative "Upscale and Mainstream Green Office Lifestyles in Vietnam", a Do-It-Yourself Guideline on Green Office Lifestyle and Criteria has been developed. This step-by-step guideline is to calculate GHG emissions from organizational activities and implement a green office program. 

 

There were 11 offices conducting pilot GO programs in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, resulting in remarkable achievement in reduction of GHG emissions and operational costs. In addition, the outlook for Green Office Criteria of Vietnam is hopeful. 

 

These results will be presented and discussed at the dissemination workshops:

Trong phạm vi dự án, 10 văn phòng tại Hà Nội, TP. Hồ Chí Minh và Đà Nẵng sẽ được lựa chọn để triển khai Lối sống Văn phòng Xanh từ tháng 8/2017đến tháng 5/2018.
