I would like to express the gratitude from the coordination team to all the members for your support and participation in the development as well as consultation process of the Position Paper “Climate finance for Adaptation in South East Asia”. The position paper will be a joint publication by CCWG, CANSEA, and ACCC and it will be presented at the UNFCCC’s COP 26 in Glasgow later this year.



I am very excited to share with you the 1st draft of the paper and we NEED YOUR SUPPORT to make the paper more inclusive and comprehensive.

Dear CCWG Members,

We would like to invite you to participate in a “Training and Consultation Session on Adaptation Finance and CSOs in Southeast Asia”. The training will take place on 21st and 23rd September 2021, between 2-3pm (Bangkok time GMT+7).

The training aims on giving you an opportunity to learn about key issues and current developments related to adaptation finance, while the consultation session will enable you to share your insights and experiences to inform a position paper on the topic. The training will be conducted by our technical expert, Dr. Janto S. Hess, and the CCWG/CANSEA secretariats. The position paper will be a joint publication by CCWG, CANSEA, and ACCC and it will be presented at the UNFCCC’s COP 26 in Glasgow later this year. We would also like to express thanks to those of you who already provided some inputs during the first round of consultation and hope for your continued engagement.
