*Impacts and adaptation strategies*

Vietnam is often presented as one of the countries that are the most
vulnerable to climate change, especially in the low-lying and densely
populated Mekong River Delta.

What is the exposure of the country to climate change impacts at horizon
2050? Are there other major environmental challenges threatening
sustainability? What kind of adaptation and mitigation strategies could be
implemented to help drive the environmental and socio-economic dynamics in
a sustainable direction? These questions have been investigated within the
framework of the GEMMES research project over the past 3 years.

This webinar will highlight the main final results of the project, which
are presented in two reports released at COP27 in Egypt.
