Agriculture Community Based Insurance (Agri.CBI) is one of four components of the project. The project is implementing in 5 communes: Nghi Cong Nam, Nghi Lam, Nghi Thai, Nghi Van and Nghi Yen of Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province. The Agri.CBI to rice cultivation is piloted in the Winter-Spring 2012-2013 rice crop at village level of those five communes. Currently, paddy rice is in grain filling and ripening stages. Rice harvesting is expected to be started in soon in May. Under the context of the Agri.CBI pilot, SNV is looking for a Local Consultant to undertake Rice Yield Assessment at village and commune level.
