Oxfam is responsible to translate into Vietnamese, print, publish and disseminate
the: Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP) Principles and Standards
in Accountability and Quality Management (2010) within the project entitled:
“<i>Strengthening institutional capacity for disaster risk management
in Viet Nam, including climate change related disasters for the 2012-2016
periods – SCDM II”</i>. Under this project, the United Nations Development
Programme (UNDP) Country Office in Viet Nam is currently supporting the
Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) through Disaster Management
Center (DMC) of Water Resources Directorate (WRD) as the National Implementing
Partner (NIP). Oxfam is a Co-Implementing Partner (CIP), together with
2 other CIPs including Vietnam Red Cross, and Vietnam Women Union.<br>

HAP - the Humanitarian Accountability Partnership (HAP) International was
established in 2003 to promote accountability to people affected by humanitarian
crises and to acknowledge those organizations that meet the HAP <i>Principles
of Accountability. </i>By applying these <i>Principles</i>, an organization
becomes accountable for the quality of its work to people it aims to assist
and on whose behalf it is acting.</font><font size=3 face="Times New Roman">

At the moment, the 1st translated version of HAP standards 2010 has recently
been drafted by Oxfam team. After seeking inputs and comments from members
of DMWG Sphere Working Group members to improve and revise the translation
of HAP Standards, we would like to call for the inputs from DMWG and CCWG
members by <b><u>28 July 2013</u></b>. Please send your inputs and feedbacks
