overall goal of the USAID Strategic Information Capacity Strengthening Activity
is to strengthen in-country strategic information capacity for effective and
sustainable HIV service delivery in Vietnam. The total estimated ceiling of
this three-year activity is $1,500,000.
USAID expects one award under this cooperative agreement. Competition
for this activity is limited to local Vietnamese institutions, which include
non-governmental organizations, academic institutions, and research institutes. </font></div><div><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif"><br></span></div><div><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">The
project aims to achieve its goal by realizing the following objectives:</span></div><div>

HIV and AIDS-related data from program monitoring and surveillance at

</span>Foster a culture of data use to
strengthen local HIV and AIDS responses ; and</font></p><p style="margin:0in 0in 0.0001pt 0.75in"><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif">3. </span><span style="font-family:arial,helvetica,sans-serif;line-height:115%">Generate and utilize operational research and
