has made it clear: we are in a situation of code red. Science has also made clear we need to drastically reduce emissions and increase resilience through adaptation and finance. Enhanced ambition and bold actions are needed for any nation and community. World
leaders will gather in November for the Conference of Parties #26 of UNFCCC. It will be a defining moment to raise ambitions on mitigation, adaptation and finance. Encouraging developments are already happening: China pledged to stop oversea coal finance;
US pledged to double climate finance; in Europe, the Green Deal is our new growth strategy; the Netherlands issued a law to reduce emissions by at least 55% on
<span style="color:black">its </span>way to climate neutrality in 2050.</span><span lang="EN-US"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
