The International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), is a nonprofit independent research and training organization. IRRI is a member of the the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR). IRRI's goals contribute to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals<http://www.un.org/millenniumgoals/> to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger and ensure environmental sustainability. IRRI has its headquarters in Los Baños, the Philippines and works in all Asia, Africa and Latin America.
