Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam (AITVN) is pleased to announce the opening of the TWO courses: Public Speaking & Presentation Skills (21-22 November) and Report Writing Skills for Project Officers (27-29 November) at AITVN Hanoi.

PUBLIC SPEAKING & PRESENTATION SKILLS

 

●      Criteria for an effective presentation/ speech

●      Defining the aim of your presentation/ speech and identifying the audience

●      Structuring a presentation/ speech and organizing ideas/ information 

●      Controlling your nervousness;

●      Magnifying Your Strengths and Reducing Your Weaknesses as a Speaker

●      Using non-verbal communication, Creating good rapport with the audience & Managing your time

●      Adding energy or enthusiasm to any presentation.

●      Handling questions from the audience

      Impromptu speaking

REPORT WRITING SKILLS FOR PROJECT OFFICERS

 

●      structure information into standard report forms

●      write with a clear pattern of organization, chronological descriptions, cause and effect analysis, comparison and contrast, and general to particular ordering of details

●      maintain focus in writing

●      use appropriate vocabulary for both specialist and non-specialist readers

●      state problems and construct arguments

●      follow standard grammar, capitalization and punctuation rules

●      use proofreading and editing techniques
