[opportunities] RFP for for Technical Support in Development of Climate Scenarios in Viet Nam – Preparation of National Projections (Package 1 – PRECIS Model)

Dear Sir/Madam,

UNDP Vietnam seeks proposals from qualified firms/institutes/organizations for Technical Support in Development of Climate Scenarios in Viet Nam – Preparation of National Projections (Package 1 – PRECIS Model).

The overall objective of the assignment are:

-         Analysis of three PRECIS model simulations in order to assess the realism of the simulations; provide impact-relevant indices from the raw data from the simulations and provide assessments of uncertainty based on results from multiple models.
-         Data from the three 25 km PRECIS Model simulations from 1951 tob? 2099 for RCP4.5 and 8.5 will be used.

The selection will be based on a competitive basis and will comply with UNDP procurement regulations.
