ILRI works to enhance the roles livestock play in pathways out of poverty in developing countries. ILRI is a member of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) Consortium, a global research partnership of 15 centres working with many partners for a food-secure future. ILRI's headquarters are located in Nairobi, Kenya, and research is conducted in 31 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America, through funding from over 50 different donors.

ILRI seeks to recruit a Value Chain Manager (VCM) to lead the development and implementation of the research for development activities associated with the L&F smallholder pig value chain in Viet Nam, and to develop and manage the national partnerships required for those activities.  In addition the VCM will play the lead role in coordinating and implementing ILRI's planned support to the LIFSAP project of the Government of Vietnam. The detail information in the attached file fyi.
