Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of our partners, the China Medical Board and Resources of Health Equity, we would like to share their announcement that the 2017-18 Equity Initiative Fellowship Application is now open.

The Equity Initiative is an exciting new transformative leadership program aimed at social impact for health. The fellowship is designed for working professionals to join a diverse group of their peers for 6 weeks of in-person sessions over one year. Interested candidates can visit www.equityinitiative.org<http://www.equityinitiative.org> to learn more about the fellowship program's eligibility requirements, selection criteria, application process timeline, and apply online.

The age range is 25-40 years, and the EI has a strong affinity for gender equality. Fellows may come from a broad range of health-related sectors - medicine, public health, economics, policy-making, non-governmental social action, environment, legal, business, and communications.

The fellowship is fully funded, and entailing 6 weeks of dedicated travel and learning, while staying in their current jobs. Selection is highly selective, where candidates will be vetted by national nomination committees and chosen by an independent regional selection committee.
