[opportunities] English Interpreter and translator/Office manager

Dear colleagues,

 

Sustainable Development Consulting Corporation (SDCC) is looking for a
full-time English Interpreter/translator cum Office Manager for its
development projects. Details are as follows:

1.    Indicative tasks:

*         Interpret for meetings, discussions, and workshops

*         Translate reports, documents, and meeting minutes

*         Assist international consultants looking for documents and
information

*         Support liaison with projects' agencies

*         Perform other administrative duties as required

2.    Key competencies

*         Ability to produce professional quality, accurate and efficient
simultaneous interpretation required

*         Ability to produce professional quality translation from English
to Vietnamese and vice-versa is required

*         Experience working with the Government agencies and international
organisations is preferred

*         Ability to work collaboratively with all project counterparts and
consultant teams

3.    Required qualification and experience

*         Advanced linguistic-related degree preferred; Bachelor
linguistic-related degree is required 

*         At least three years of English-Vietnamese language translation
and interpretation experience, preferably in ODA projects

*         Well understood government administrative procedures preferred.

4.    Places of work

*         The main place of work will be in Hanoi (i.e. Thanh Xuan and Cau
Giay). Travel in Vietnam would be required.

5.    Contract and benefit

*         Contract duration: 1 year, extendable

*         Remuneration: 13,000,000 - 15,000,000 VND/month depending on
experience and qualification

*         Social and health insurances
