Dear Environmental practitioners, 

 

Identifying that the Environmental practitioners who is working for Development Projects, government agencies, academic and research institutes, energy companies and NGOs in the regional countries are now facing many issues in the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment and EIA Review, the Learning Center is going to organize the following training courses which help to strengthen relevant competencies for environmental practitioners:

Brief of the Training Institute: The Vietnam Learning Center on Environmental and Social Sustainability (LC) was established in April 2015 under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Asian Institute of Technology in Vietnam (AITVN) and its development partners, including the World Bank Group, the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of the Australian Embassy. The center is being established with initial funding support from the Australian Government. Other development partners have committed to provide technical support.

 

The training team is the best trainers in the EIA pool of experts who are selected and trained carefully by the donors through 9 TOT courses on Environment and Social Safeguard.
