[opportunities] Project Officer for World Bank project in Tra Vinh

Dear NGO-centre opportunites subscribers,

Tra Vinh University is looking for a *Project Officer* for the upcoming 21
month project titled “Piloting Automated Sensors for Improving Paddy
irrigation Efficiency” funded by World Bank. The project is designed to
promote climate-smart agriculture in the Mekong Delta region of Viet Nam.
The project aims to improve productivity and resilience, while improving
efficiency of water use, energy use, and organic and inorganic fertilizers
and reducing overall GHG emissions through the application of ICT
initiatives to address the challenges facing agricultural sector. The
project activities are planned to be implemented in 3 locations: Tra Vinh,
Can Tho, and An Giang provinces. The Officer will be based in Tra Vinh and
is supposed to visit each site every week, travelling by motorbike. For
