Call for Proposals

 

Consultants to undertake an Advanced Study of the Impact Investment Ecosystem in Vietnam

 

The Vietnam Field Support Services Project (FSSP) provides technical, administrative and logistical support services to Global Affairs Canada (GAC) for the planning, delivery and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of Canada’s development assistance program in Vietnam.  

 

 <https://www.international.gc.ca/world-monde/issues_development-enjeux_developpement/priorities-priorites/policy-politique.aspx?lang=eng> Canada’s Feminist International Assistance Policy (FIAP) concludes that supporting gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls is the best way to build a more peaceful, inclusive and prosperous world.  It calls for targeted investments, partnerships, innovation and advocacy efforts to close gender gaps and improve everyone’s chance for success.

 

The FSSP is supporting GAC to operationalize the FIAP and support Canada’s priorities for development assistance in Vietnam. This includes the preparation of analytical products to support program and project planning and the provision of technical assistance to increase knowledge and understanding of emerging sectors.

 

One emerging sector of interest for Canada’s development assistance program in Vietnam is the impact investment ecosystem and looking towards innovative new modalities for partnership and financing.  To further this interest, the FSSP is seeking to recruit a firm or team of consultants to undertake an ‘Advanced Study of the Impact Investment Ecosystem in Vietnam’.

The deadline for receipt of proposals is midnight in Hanoi, on the 31st of March, 2020.  Suitably qualified and experienced firms and teams of consultants are invited to submit their narrative and financial proposals by email to:

A proposal review panel will assess the proposals and all bidders will be notified of the results of their application.
