USAID DIRECT project is inviting qualified Vietnamese national to apply for the Occupational Therapy Specialist position to provide training for local service providers and services to persons with disabilities. DIRECT is implemented by Viet-Nam Assistance for the Handicapped (VNAH) – a US-based NGO operating in Vietnam over the past 30 years. Position title: Occupational Therapy Specialist
Work station: Ho Chi Minh City (or one of these sites: Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai provinces), with frequent travel to the project sites.
Contract term: Up to 2,5 years
Qualification: A bachelor degree or equivalent in occupational therapy; a minimum of 8 years of experience in rehabilitation practice in Viet Nam, of which 2 years of actual practice in occupational therapy; experience as a trainer is a plus; capable of spoken and written English is preferred.
